About Coaching
There are a number of factors in our everyday life which are becoming ever more stressful. Careers, relationships, finances, health, coping with grief, and many other areas associated with our own personal development, are major issues which many of us have to contend with on a regular daily basis. If not at present, then we will undoubtedly have to at some point in our lives. My coaching techniques are not only designed with each individuals needs in mind, but my programme is delivered in a relatively unique format; that is to say all persons are coached outdoors.
Outdoor coaching I feel speaks for itself. All too often we are fixed to our desks, our office space, or indeed our homes, etc, with little opportunity to escape into the open fresh air. Consequently our problems become rooted to the space we are occupying. By using this method of coaching, it allows one to think on their feet whilst challenging those areas in their life they believe are in need of attention. More importantly, by taking the plunge and getting yourself outdoors you not only begin to feel relaxed as you make the initial steps towards clearing your mind, but aided by the open space you soon learn to feel the benefits of feeling free both physically, mentally, emotionally and of course spiritually. Therefore, not only do you receive your coaching in your own chosen surroundings on either the Norfolk or Lincolnshire coast, but you also have the added bonus of taking some form of mild exercise too!

Clients choose which location they feel would best suit them. For example, you may choose to venture through woodlands on the Queens Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, for which further information can be found here. This location also provides a natural shelter from the elements should the weather be less desirable on the day for walking on the beach or marshes. Therefore, coaching sessions take place whatever the weather!
Of course you might prefer a leisurely stroll along the private beaches at Holkham. Owned by the Earl of Leicester, this location provides a natural retreat for one to feel easily at peace. Aided by this natural environment, clients are able to think clearly and plan their proposals towards implementing change. Again, if you are interested in having this location form the basis for your coaching session(s) then further information and additional pictures can be found here.

However, those of you in search of getting away from all of lifes daily distractions will find the following location provides a perfect opportunity to accomplish this. Here we take Sir Peter Scotts walk along the bank of the Wash Estuary with its expansive views across both marshland and sea. Generally free from polluting noise, other than wildlife of course, one is able to take in this vast area of beauty which continues to remain largely natural and relatively unspoiled.
Once reached, and if the tide is permitting, we walk out to an island located on the Wash itself (see picture below). Accessible only at low tide, this sanctuary is usually only enjoyed by seals and other various forms of wildlife. It is here that we will take rest and enjoy lunch, whilst continuing with the coaching session, before finally embarking upon our return journey home.
This excursion is very much 'back to basics,' yet it continues to remain an extremely liberating experience for those clients who opt for this location to serve as the foundation for their coaching session.
