A very good question; there are many charlatons on the internet and it is difficult to see who the genuine psychics are to the fake ones.

The problem is also their pricing; you will find that many so called psychics charge by the minute compared to a set fee. others charge for every 30 minutes and so on. A genuine psychic reading isn't set by time itself; its governed by the information spirit wants to give to you, to help you on your life's spiritual path.

Also, the person giving the reading will most probably ask specific questions about you... Why do they need further information?

Your name should be sufficient for a psychic reading, even just your first name. Because the spirit world doesn't  just sit there waiting to be called, they are there with you, around you, trying to nudge you in the right directions. They are all around us.

When your date of birth is given or your surname, you are giving the psychic reader a lot of information before they even start the reading.  They could look up your surname on social media and read your posts, gathering personal information about you.

Then there's your date of birth. There is a lot to say about horoscopes and it is something I don't delve into too deeply. But your horoscope does on a broad scale, show a person's traits and characteristics. All this information can be gathered and used in your psychic reading. So the so-called psychic has much more information on you, even before you have a reading.

So just be aware of it.
